about the 6Teens at Joomla

Joomla 6Teen actually began as a group of 6 Joomla experts. We observed that there's no company which is singularly focussed on Joomla development. So we took this oppurtunity and here you are.

I had this plan in mind to build a niche in whatever I do (long before I read The Long Tail!). Considering Joomla's status as the big daddy of all open source CMSs and still maintaining a niche, and most of all using PHP as the platform, I discussed it with my colleagues that if we can make something out of it. All nodded in positive. Preparation started. Guys got the documentations and started practicing with Joomla's framework. 

My idea has always been to build a consistent revenue model instead of engaging ourselves in custom development. This is like a loop. You go nowhere. You remain in the loop. Project >> Money >> Project. We focus on building products which can cater to the masses or to a particular niche. Our sole idea towards creating a product: It must solve a genuine problem, has innovation in its core and must be sustainable in the long run. We will be launching a Joomla-based SaaS product in the next few months. You will hear from us as soon as it gets ready.

We work hard to make sure we follow Agile development practices. Quality Analysis is a stringent part of every project we do and always try not to leave anything to chance.

Joomla6teen is a subsidiary of Landshark Softwares. We love to work on Joomla-related developments and customizations. Discussion among team members over a project is a part of our work process but we do ask our client before we implement an idea. We discuss our own ideas with client as per his requirements and if he agrees over that, we  completely engross our hearts and minds and everything into it!!

Joomla is like a phenomenon. Though there are many other CMSs at par with Joomla, Joomla has focussed on its branding among end users rather than developers. Its extensions, its User Interface, its community. Everything implies a great level of sophistication yet working on it is such an ease for non-tech users. Joomla is something we love to do. Be it a a Joomla extension or or a joomla portal or a highly customized Online Store. Or anything Joomla. You name it, We do it.
