I wanted to know if there is an option to set how many times a coupon can be prited. Also is it possible to add a barcode to the coupon?
These options are not available in the current version. The next release early next week will have these options including uploading a barcode image to each coupon.

Topic : Coupon Category Display - set

I know a user can select a different number from the front end.

The problem is the default is set to 5. I want to have anyone coming to the site to see all (or 50) as the default - not 5.

Where do I do that? What id the filename / directory / line of code / what to change it to...

Thank you.

Peace & Joy,
Jeff Honeyager

Hi!
I have a problem with image type fields. I tracked down the problem - when attaching first image to entry it saves in sql table the entry by inserting "|" in front of file name. so in list view it does not show up. when i delete "|" symbol in sql table entry everything works fine. how can I fix this?

Topic : Category Display inconsistent with MSIE 9

The category display shows sub-categories as bullets under the main / top category just fine in Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome. But - not in Microsoft Internet Explorer. The sub-categories are displayed in the same format (style) as the main/top categories.

See the screen shots - this was displayed in MSIE 9.0.8112.16421

Any idea where the css needs to be changed?

Also, how can I modify the category layout? For example, one-column display, or default "ALL" for the number of categories instead of the default=5?

Thank You.

Peace & Joy,
Jeff Honeyager

On the front end when selecting the Start Publishing date from the pop up calendar, then saving, an "Invalid Starting Date Format" error message displays.

Take a look at the screen shots.

???

Topic : Logo Upload

Is there anything special to know about store logos?

I have uploaded a jpg 100x75 (as per the front end display instructions).

It does not save it.

On the back end, I did the same. After clicking "Add File" >> browse >> select, it shows up. But when I click SAVE it is gone.

Thanks for all your help.

Peace & Joy,
Jeff Honeyager

Already solved self. First copy files from httpdocs/administrator/components/com_coupon/helpers/plugins to /httpdocs/plugins/system.
Then install component.

Good to know. We have our next release scheduled for Monday. That would be a major release with loads of new features and highly configurable. Also, that will be very much bug-free.

Regards

Thank you, but it would have been nice if you had replied to my email. Especially since you said you can do it & and ask me for my ftp details.

You're right. Should have replied to your mail. I did said I will get it done but then thought since these are being done in the next release next week, let's just keep it like that.

But yes, I should have conveyed you the same. Apologies.

I emailed you the ftp details last week and I am still waiting for the changes :(

Hi

These are not bugs/issues but customizations. So we suggest you to wait until the next release which is going to happen by the end of this week.
If you need this urgently, you can always ask us for paid support to customize the extension based on your requirements.

Regards

The next release will include all the customizations you have asked for in your email.
